Job Summary


Ultrabank Management Services has been retained by one of its Clients, a major player in the manufacturing sector, to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the above mentioned vacancy that has arisen within its operations.

Duties And Responsibilities


Key Result Areas
 Create and implement Group procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry
 Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry
 Compare proposals for price and specifications
 Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs
 Review contract specifications on behalf of the company
 Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion
 Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers
 Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency

Qualifications And Experience


Person Specification:
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:-
 Relevant Procurement/commercial degree or its equivalent.
 Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager not less than 3 years.
 Professional Qualification is a must.
